Rooted in Care: Birthstone’s Nonprofit Transition Fund

Birthstone Breastfeeding & Wellness Center has always been more than a private practice — it’s been a community lifeline. We've stood alongside families in their most powerful and vulnerable moments, offering lactation support, birth guidance, mental health care, and trauma-informed services with compassion and deep respect.

Now, we’re evolving.

To expand access, secure sustainable funding, and stay true to our mission, Birthstone is becoming a nonprofit. This shift allows us to serve more families — especially those in rural, Medicaid-eligible, or historically underserved communities across Western North Carolina.

But we need your help to get there.

Your gift to this campaign will:
Cover startup costs for our nonprofit transition (legal fees, IRS application, admin support)

Sustain core services during the shift (so we don’t lose momentum or close our doors)

Lay the foundation for future grant funding and community-owned care
