Your commitment is invaluable to our goal of protecting the Sutter Buttes and other important land in the surrounding region. As you know, the increasing pressures of California’s expanding population and housing demands bring the pristine nature of the area into peril. As a truly local grassroots organization, Sutter Buttes Regional Land Trust, in cooperation with landowners, farmers and ranchers, and its members, is working to:

Ø Identify and permanently protect significant lands in the Sutter Buttes, the Pacific Flyway, and the surrounding Sutter, Yuba, and Colusa regions;

Ø Educate school children and the public about all aspects of the Sutter Buttes; and

Ø Provide opportunities for personal experiences in the Sutter Buttes to foster an appreciation of them as a living and historic treasure.
