Support TSYO's Before/After School and Tutoring Program for the 2022-2023 School Season

Taylor Services Youth Organization is a 501 (c)(3) organization that provides a before/after school and tutoring program to underserved youth from Chicago’s Chatham, Avalon Park, Calumet Heights, Pullman and Roseland communities. We are gearing up for the start of the 2022-2023 school season and we are humbly seeking your support of Taylor Services Youth Organization’s Before/After School & Tutoring Program that is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 22, 2022.

At Taylor Services Youth Organization children of all ages from diverse backgrounds enjoy fun and educational activities in a warm and safe environment. Partnering with schools, parents, and the community, Taylor Services Youth Organization meet children’s needs with fun, innovative, and educational age-appropriate programs. Taylor Services Youth Organization’s plan for the afterschool and tutoring program is to work with students to identify and mobilize resources that facilitate learning and promote success. Taylor Services Youth Organization is dedicated to providing quality small group tutoring, consisting of 2 to 5 students. Each tutoring group is led by a qualified peer tutor. Taylor Services Youth Organization After School and Tutoring Program support retention efforts, aid with course grade improvement, improve elementary school experience satisfaction, develop independent, self-direct learners and provide skills students can take with them for future success. Those who participate in the program will use critical thinking skills, experience active learning strategies, engage with others in a collaborative environment, practice learning how to learn course material and gain confidence through skill development.
