Help us raise money to save 3 Belgian Draft Horses from shipping to slaughter

We need your support to save two Belgian Draft Horse mares and a gelding from shipping to slaughter. 

We are working on our first rescue mission of 2024 and we need your help! We were not planning on rescuing any horses at this time after the recent passing of Aurora...but there are 3 horses we are looking to rescue/save from Bowie Texas Livestock. 

One Belgian Draft Horse mare looks to be in good condition however there is another mare and a gelding that are in serious need of medical attention! 

The one mare needing medical attention is 22 years old, blind in the right eye and has a severe sway back. The sway back could be because of a genetic issue and she could also have some joint/hip issues but we won't know the extent of the conditions until we can rescue her. The gelding is 14 years old, underweight and has an issue with his back left leg. We need your support to save these horses and give them the retirement they deserve. After years of serving others and working hard they deserve better! 

We are raising funds to cover the bail fee and transport at this time. We will do another fundraiser once we can get them to the vet for medical.
