Raising Funds to Pay for Andy the Cat's Surgery

Just before Christmas, Andy, a young male-neutered cat was pacing and trying to urinate in litter pan. All he could produce was a few drops of bloody urine. He began crying out in pain. Having limited financial resources, his concerned owner took Andy to a local animal shelter for help. The shelter offered euthanasia for Andy. That is where Better Together Pet Resource Center stepped in.

Better Together Pet Resource Center recommended that Andy’s owner take the sick kitty to a local veterinary hospital for examination and emergency treatment. Andy received great veterinary care and ultimately had surgery to decrease the chance for a painful urinary blockage in the future. Andy is back home, doing well, and recovering with his people.

This is a really good example of how Better Together Pet Resource Center keeps pets with the people who love them AND lessens surrender of animals to local shelters and rescue organizations.
