                                      Walk to End Period Poverty

We’re committed to walking and fundraising for Agape Global Health’s Menstrual Care Program to help end period poverty for girls in La Gonâve, Haiti. We’re asking you to join our team with a donation and walk with us. If you can’t walk, please consider a donation. It will make a huge impact. 

In La Gonâve, like many impoverished countries which lack sanitation facilities, including running water and menstrual care products, most girls stay home from school during their periods. They’re left to their own devices, using rags, leaves, newspapers or whatever they can find to manage their periods. They miss an average of 5 days of school per month or 6 weeks per school year. 

A $120 donation provides eight washable, reusable menstrual health care kits that can last up to three years with proper care and empowers girls to stay in school when they have their period.

Agape Global Health for Haiti is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all volunteer organization with a mission to help advance and promote the health care and well being of the people of La Gonâve, Haiti. They provide direct medical care, public health education, medical training and water filtration kits.
