Humanity is not always good at anticipating and adapting to the effects of rapid innovation on our environment, our societies, and our pysches.

In the 20th century, fossil fuels, global markets, and easy money increased productivity enormously.

They also increased natural disasters, global debt, wealth inequality, and social isolation.

In the 21st century, machines that are better, faster, cheaper, and safer than human labor on almost all fronts will increase productivity exponentially.

Explosive productivity that requires no human labor will be the biggest change humanity has ever experienced.

In our current social, economic, and personal value systems, labor is the source of income, survival, status, and self-worth.

We cannot afford to wait for the unanticipated effects of this change as we did with last century's technologies.

We must begin to anctipcate how these changes will effect our institutional structures and the stability of our societies.

And then we must quickly adapt our values and our agreements around:

how we engage with our environment,
how we engage with each other, and
how we engage with ourselves.

Some critical questions that must be addressed:

Can we leverage 21st century exponential innovations to solve our current problems of climate change, wealth inequality, and social discord, instead of making them worse?
How can we ensure our basic needs for survival are met when labor has no financially competitive value?
Aside from labor and income, what are other sources of self-worth, status, and pyschological wellbeing? How can we begin to cultivate and value them?
What new possibilities emerge in a world of abundance?
What sort of incentives could we employ to move beyond our current scarcity mindsets and allow these possibilities to become real?

Replacing human labor with machine productivity could enable all humans to

access plentiful food and long, healthy lives,
spend our time pursuing wisdom and purpose,
build vibrant communities in stable, just societies, and
live in harmony with a planet in ecological balance.

The technological innovations to create such a future exist. Soon they will be deployed throughout all of our global societies.

The future that we create with them depends on the social, economic, and personal value systems we embrace.

Nothing is guaranteed. But all is still possible.

CONNECT & EMPOWER

We will build a community of individuals and organizations committed to a future of collective abundance.

ONLINE MEMBER PLATFORM

We will build a digital platform to allow members of the Collective from all over the globe to to find community, knowledge, resources, and collaboration partners. The platform's topics and content will be curated by and serve the needs of the Collective's membership.

IN PERSON EVENTS

We will host events to build community and develop concrete solutions to drive collective abundance locally. These events will be developed in partnership with local community organizations and local Collective members. They may take many formats, including workshops, trainings, salons, dinners, retreats and conferences.

INFORM & INSPIRE

We will raise public awareness about the need to adapt our systems and values and promote the ideas, people, and organizations working towards a future of abundance for all.

YOUTUBE / PODCAST SERIES

We will develop content to share pathways to creating a future of abundance for all.

Through 1-to-1 interviews and roundtable discussions we will elevate diverse, global voices of change.

Guests will include community organizers, entrepreneurs and inventors, authors and academics, policy and governance experts, artists and philosphers, industry leaders, educators, and more.

The EAC will operate as a non-profit member-supported organization.

Our primary sources of income will be:

Donations from individuals and foundations
Subscriptions from members for access to our community platforms, newsletters, events
Sponsorships from organizations who want to connect to our member community and our public YouTube/podcast audience

Contributions to this GiveButter campaign will be spent to secure sustainable income for our organizatoin

Set up our legal entity and file for nonprofit status
Deploy our digital community platform
Produce the first 5 episodes of our YouTube / podcast series to encapsulate our vision, mission, and values
Drive membership subscriptions via the launch of a social media marketing campaign to promote the organization via our YouTube / podcast content
Submit grant applications to supplement our funding as our memberships and sponsorships grow

1. DONATE MONEY TO FUND OUR LAUNCH

$100 funds the purchase of a podcasting mic or similar production equipment
$1,000 funds the research, guest recruitment and logistics, recording, and editing of one video podcast episode
$5,000 funds a month of grant submissions, fundraising, social media outreach, and administrative activities
$10,000 funds the complete legal costs to setup our organization and file our 501c3
