Join us at the as we celebrate Eagle Day. Come explore the exhibit hall, view a special eagle exhibit, participate in our nature trail activity, visit the nature store for a free eagle take home craft, enjoy live bird presentations, or take a photography class. Tickets are free! Donations to the Friends of the Bear River Refuge are used to support Refuge projects as well as Refuge educational programs. Thank you! **We will be offering two different live bird presentations. At 10:00 am Ogden Nature Center will be at the Refuge for a mystery eagle Presentation. The Bear River Blogger, Jeff Strong will be teaching a photography class from 11:30 am to 12;30 pm. At 1:00 pm HawkWatch International will be presenting a mystery eagle. Eagle species are TBD. We will announce more information as it becomes available. Tickets are required to see the live bird presentations and attend the photography class. Everyone two and older must have a ticket to attend the event. Tickets are issued on a first come first serve basis.
StoryThe Friends of the Bear River Refuge are devoted to the promotion, appreciation, and conservation of the wildlife, birds, and habitat of the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. We operate the Avocet Corner Bookstore out of the James V. Hansen Wildlife Education Center. All proceeds from the bookstore are used to help fund refuge projects and educational programs.
