🚨Our First Emergency of 2026🚨

Last night, we received heartbreaking photos of a pig who was clearly suffering from a severe prolapse. We immediately sent over a list of local veterinarians who could help, hoping she would get the urgent care she so desperately needed.

When we woke up this morning, the response stopped us in our tracks.

Her owner shared that she did not have the funds to seek emergency veterinary care. She had only $100 to her name to last her and her five children until next week. She was terrified, overwhelmed, and out of options.

That’s when our village stepped in.

Thanks to Anna, who was able to meet her, this sweet pig was rushed to Cape May Veterinary Hospital, where she is now in wonderful, capable hands and receiving critical care.

💔 She is fighting for her life.

She has been in this condition for more than 24 hours, and tragically, her previous owners had attempted to repair the prolapse themselves. This has made her situation even more critical.

She was never given a name.
She was only ever called “Piggy.”

Right now, Piggy is stable enough to undergo emergency treatment, but we don’t know if she will make it. We are praying and hoping with everything we have. If she can pull through this surgery, she will also need a life-saving spay to prevent this from ever happening again.

🙏 We need your help—urgently.

Emergency vet care, surgery, hospitalization, and ongoing treatment come at a significant cost. Every dollar raised will go directly toward Piggy’s medical care and giving her the chance at a life she has never known—one with comfort, safety, and dignity.

If you’re able to donate, share, or keep Piggy in your thoughts, it truly makes a difference.

She finally has a chance. Let’s give Piggy a name—and a future.

Thank you for standing with us during our first emergency of 2026. We couldn’t do this without you. 💙🐷
