🚨Emergency Fundraiser for Lulu

Meet Lulu — an 8-year-old girl with the sweetest soul, the softest eyes, and a heart that just wants to be loved 🤍.

Lulu was supposed to be starting a brand-new chapter, maybe even finding her forever home. Instead, her story took a heartbreaking turn 💔. When her momma reached out for help, we discovered something devastating — Lulu was extremely sick.

She suddenly stopped eating.
She wasn’t drinking.
She stopped being Lulu 😔.

Her breathing became labored and frightening 😮‍💨. Thick mucus poured from her snout, and all she wanted was to lay down, rest, and find comfort 🤍. Her little body was tired, and her spirit was scared 🥺.

The moment Lulu arrived at LSU Large Animal, doctors knew she couldn’t wait another minute 🚨. She was admitted immediately and is now receiving nonstop care 🏥. Tests, diagnostics, medications, and constant monitoring are all being done with one goal — to save sweet Lulu’s life 🙏.

Lulu received X-rays of her skull, but nothing gave us answers. She then received a scope of her upper airways, and the veterinarians found yellow material that extended all the way down her esophagus. The vets are puzzled, and more diagnostics are needed 💔.

Lulu didn’t ask for this. She didn’t ask to be sick, afraid, or hurting. She just wants to breathe easier, eat again, feel better, and know she is loved 🐽🤍.

This fight comes with a heavy cost, and now Lulu needs our help. She is trying so hard, but she can’t do this alone 💞.
