El Campito so is excited to invite all students, families, and staff to a fun, optional summer outing at Deep River Waterpark in Crown Point, Indiana, on Saturday, July 19, 2025! This trip is designed to be a laid-back way for our community to enjoy a day of sunshine, water rides, and time together before the new school year begins. While completely optional, we hope many of you will join us for this splash-filled day of fun.

Deep River Waterpark is one of the largest water parks in the Midwest, featuring wave pools, waterslides, a lazy river, splash zones for younger children, and more. It’s also extremely family-friendly. The park allows coolers, so families are welcome to pack their own lunches and drinks (please note that glass, alcohol, and items requiring electricity or heat are not permitted). For your convenience, lockers and life jackets are available on-site, and parking is always free. Please note that Deep River is located in the Central Time Zone, which is one hour behind the South Bend time zone. This means that while the park opens at 10:00 AM Central, it will feel like 11:00 AM to us. We recommend planning and giving yourself enough time to arrive promptly.

Tickets for the event are $29.95 per person for anyone 13 months or older. Payment is due by Thursday, July 11. Children under 1 year old are admitted free of charge. To receive the group rate, all guests must arrive at the same time and enter together. One group leader from El Campito (Ms. Aleyna) will pay for everyone at once upon arrival and distribute the tickets to families before they enter the park. It’s very important that you arrive on time to avoid delays at check-in!

We are also offering the option to pre-purchase a box lunch from the waterpark. The meal includes a hot dog, chips, and a drink for $6.95 per person. It must be ordered and paid for at the same time as your tickets. If your family prefers, you are more than welcome to bring your own food in a cooler instead. We’ll be asking each family to indicate their lunch preference when turning in payment.
