ECHO stands for Every Choice Holds an Opportunity. It is a peer-led program created to support people inside correctional institutions as they work through healing, accountability, identity, relationships, and mental wellness.

Now, we are asking for your help to fund one full year of ECHO at Racine Correctional Institution.

But this campaign is about more than sustaining a program. It is about closing the gap between what people inside need and what is often available to them. Many people are expected to heal, change, and prepare for reentry without consistent support. ECHO is working to change that.

During our pilot at Racine, we saw what is possible when people are offered a space built on trust, honesty, and lived experience. Participants opened up, reflected, supported one another, and engaged in conversations that too often do not happen inside prison walls.

Now, we are working to make that presence consistent.

Your support helps fund the people, preparation, materials, travel, and coordination needed to bring ECHO to Racine Correctional Institution for a full year. This campaign runs from September 1 through November 12, 2026, and will culminate in a gathering on November 12 at the Goodman Community Center.
