Every Coast Helicopter Operations (ECHO) provides low- to no-cost opportunities for crews to gain hands-on training and real-world experience. Serving as a growing hub for public safety aviation, ECHO offers specialized education in tactical operations, search and rescue, and air medical services.

We are also proud to support the next generation through three dedicated scholarships that honor the lives and legacies of those who have shaped our community:

• The Stacie Morse Gift of Flight Scholarship
  Created in partnership with Stacie Morse’s family, this scholarship honors her memory by supporting a female nurse in a rural area who is pursuing a career in flight nursing. It is intended for nurses with at least three years of experience in an ED or ICU setting—or those committed to entering the flight nursing field.

• The Timothy Gortney Memorial Scholarship
  Established in honor of Timothy Gortney, father of a past Future Flight Crew student and current ECHO volunteer, this scholarship reflects his deep pride in paramedics and unwavering support of his son’s journey into aviation medicine.

• The Justin T. Powers Memorial Scholarship
  This scholarship honors Justin’s legacy by supporting paramedics who demonstrate a strong commitment to public service and a passion for lifelong learning, helping to empower the next generation of skilled and compassionate providers.
