Support ECS San Jose

Since its inception in 1991, San Jose Ethiopian Community Services has not only provided health, education, social support services to the community, but has been a champion in advocacy for the Ethiopians living in San Jose and the greater Bay Area.

Due to funding challenges in recent years, ECS San Jose does not currently have paid staff that runs the day to day activities of the organization. This has severely hampered ECS San Jose’s capacity to provide essential services to our community.

We, people of Ethiopian origin in the Bay Area, share the responsibility to put ECS San Jose on a strong foundation, so it can become stronger than ever. Our immediate goal is to generate enough funds through recurring contributions to cover the expense of hiring one full time staff for the ECS San Jose office. We sincerely thank you for your support!
