On behalf of the Sikeston Public Schools Foundation, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Edward Cowan. For 32 years, Mr. Cowan inspired generations of students as a beloved band director, sharing not only his love of music but also his unmistakable sense of humor.

Beyond the classroom, Mr. Cowan was deeply involved in our community. He shared his talents with the Sikeston Little Theater, brought joy to countless performances, and was proudly recognized as a Homecoming Tailgate Grand Marshal; a fitting honor for someone who embodied Bulldog pride and community spirit.

Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog. Thank you Mr. Cowan, for making our schools and our community a better place.
