Give it Up for the Quorus!

Trade a "treat-yourself moment" for a stand-together movement!

The Quorus, Columbia's LGBTQA+ Community Choir relies solely on community support and funds to keep us up and running. We need folks with vision to help us achieve our mission of being a community organization that can stand the test of time! With so many voices around us telling us to be afraid and enacting legislation to exclude us, it is becoming a matter of life or death to have safe spaces for LGBTQA+ humans. The Quorus needs you to link arms with us, hold hands, and continue to sing loudly and proudly for love, justice, inclusion, and harmony in 2025.

Here's what your donation will go to directly:

Making Music Accessible: Having funds we can count on means we can legally perform diverse and inclusive repertoire that speaks to our queer experience by purchasing sheet music, octavos, licensing and rights. We also have childcare providers available for our rehearsals and that fund is crucial to our operations!

Supporting Our Singers and Community: Community funding keeps membership open to all, regardless of financial situation through our "Fairy Fund." No one should miss out on the joy of singing in community!

Visibility & Pride: This money supports the behind-the-scenes work of our staff and volunteers who shape our concerts, share our stories, and ensure The Quorus shows up with purpose and pride in our community. This includes our artistic director, collaborative pianist, guest conductors, stage manager, and Quorus leadership team.

Live Performance Magic: Continued financial support helps us to cover rehearsal and performance spaces, sound and musical equipment, local community musicians, and outreach programs with other local ensembles!

Investing in the Future: Helps us plan, dream, and build the next chapter of queer choral joy in our community with securing musicians, spaces, repertoire, and outreach to continue to get the word out about this safe space for LGBTQA+ community.
