Support a Graduate Scholarship
The Support a Graduate Scholarship helps employed graduates avoid student loan default by providing direct loan repayment assistance during a critical period of financial vulnerability.
Many graduates are working but still struggle to keep up with student loan payments due to high balances, rising living costs, or limited access to repayment guidance. When payments fall behind, borrowers face long-term consequences including damaged credit, limited housing options, and reduced employment opportunities.
Education Aid provides direct payments to loan servicers on behalf of eligible graduates, helping reduce financial strain, prevent default, and support long-term financial stability. By easing this burden, graduates can focus on building their careers and futures instead of falling further behind.
Why This Matters
-
Student loan debt in the U.S. exceeds $1.6 trillion.
-
About 1 in 5 borrowers are behind on their payments.
-
Nearly 1 in 10 borrowers eventually default on their student loans.
-
Loan default can damage credit for years, limiting access to housing, employment, and financial opportunity.
Your support helps graduates remain financially stable at a pivotal moment—preventing default before long-term harm occurs.
