Support a Student Program

Support a Student Scholarship

The Support a Student Scholarship helps students stay enrolled in school by covering essential living and educational expenses that are not covered by tuition or traditional financial aid—the very costs that most often force students to drop out.

While tuition may be paid through grants, loans, or other aid, many students still struggle to afford rent, food, childcare, textbooks, school supplies, transportation, and required technology. When these basic needs go unmet, students are often forced to leave school despite academic ability and commitment.

Education Aid provides direct financial support so students can focus on learning instead of survival. By addressing the real-world costs of being a student, this scholarship helps individuals remain enrolled, persist through challenges, and complete their education.

Why This Matters

  • Only 41% of students at U.S. public institutions graduate within four years.

  • About 75% of college dropouts never return to earn a degree.

  • Nearly half of students receive no financial support from family for college-related living expenses.

Your support ensures that housing insecurity, food costs, or childcare needs are not the reasons a student’s education is cut short.

Suggested Donation Levels

  • $50 — Helps cover basic necessities like food, transportation, or school supplies for a student in need.

$100 — Supports critical living expenses such as textbooks, childcare assistance, or required academic materials.

$250 — Helps stabilize a student’s month by contributing toward rent, utilities, or essential technology.

$500 — Provides meaningful monthly relief for housing, food, childcare, or loan payments during a critical period.

$1,000 — Fully supports one student for one month, covering essential non-tuition living or financial obligations.

$12,000 — Fully funds one student for an entire year of support.

Custom Amount — Donors may choose to support a student for multiple months or multiple years.

Every contribution, regardless of size, makes a meaningful difference.
