I’m a queer, Black woman, living in the south. Sex ed is important to me because when people receive good sex ed, they respect others and are less likely to harm someone based on sexual identity, gender expression, or sexuality.

Unfortunately, many schools in America don't provide adequate sex ed, which is especially scary for me being the mom of a school aged child who happens to have two mommies. I'm excited about this fundraiser because EducateUS is working to create a world where parents like me and kids like my daughter can be at peace. I believe in a world where all people are respected and valued, and by donating to an organization like EducateUS I know I'm doing my part to reach that goal.
