Welcome to the Holiday Giving Campaign for Life After Incarceration: Transition and Reentry!!

Life After Incarceration: Transition and Reentry (LAITR) is a non-profit occupational therapy provider for justice impacted individuals. Our occupational therapists help those that are or were previously incarcerated to learn the life skills needed to thrive in their communities! We find that our services often address the inequities that have led to mass incarceration and prevent recidivism while enhancing health and wellness for our clients. In addition to our therapy services, LAITR also operates a work program that beautifies Washtenaw County known as SHINE, Supportive Hands in Neighborhood Enhancement.

Mass incarceration and justice reform are prevalent issues today and we often run into people that wonder, "What can I do to make an impact?" Here is your opportunity! All of our services are free-of-charge to clients and we exist on grant-funding and personal donations from people like you! Any amount helps, but for reference, the cost of one individual therapy session is $125.
