UPBC is hosting a fundraising tournament to help raise money to build a school in Mpunde, Uganda. Multiple members of UPBC went to this village last summer for research projects and created relationships with the children living in Mpunde. Many of these children, especially the young girls, have limited opportunities for education, as only 2 out of every 10 children in Uganda receives a full primary school education. The goal is to build a sustainable, sliding-scale education model for the children of this village to offer them an opportunity for education.
