About us:

On January 1, 2007, a group of Haitians living abroad were discussing the void of Haitian led not for profits working in Haiti, and the lack of sustainable development work being done by NGOs. Not too long after, the group decided to pool their resources and fill this gap.

Centre Haitien d’Action Humanitaire- CEHAH was created to bridge the gap by engaging in initiatives that emphasize capacity building,resulting in a positive, long-lasting impact for a better Haiti instead of just temporary relief aid.

CEHAH is a 501c3 tax-exempt, not-for-profit organization registered in the United States, Haiti, and Canada. We work at the intersection of agriculture, education, and healthcare. To bring our mission and vision to fruition, we believe it requires all Haitians and friends of Haiti, this is why we say Let’s Work Together for a Better Haiti!
