At Ekklesia Theatre, we believe stories should do more than entertain, they should transform.

Your gift helps fund a movement of faith-based theatre in Vancouver, WA. Productions that wrestle with life’s deepest questions, connect audiences with real community impact, and remove financial barriers so everyone can experience live theatre.

Our shows don’t end at blackout.

Each one partners with a local nonprofit changing lives in our city:
It’s a Wonderful Life (December 2025) — 50% of ticket sales go to FISH of Vancouver to fight food insecurity.
12 Incompetent Jurors (March 2026) — 50% goes to Shifted Theory, supporting youth mentorship and justice reform.
Every Brilliant Thing (May 2026) — 50% goes to Charis Counseling Associates, promoting mental health and hope.

Your donation today helps cover essential costs that make these shows possible—artist pay, venue rentals, props, insurance, and licensing fees.

Making Theatre Accessible for All

We’re working to remove the exorbitant cost of attending live theatre. Our ticket prices stay intentionally low, and through our Pay-It-Forward model, audience members can buy a ticket that allows another family to attend for free.

In our very first season:

200 people attended our shows at no cost.
We donated $3,500 to local organizations.
3 families joined our acting classes tuition-free thanks to pay-it-forward gifts.

This season, our productions will continue giving back to causes that fight food insecurity, support youth and teens in crisis, and expand access to mental health care.

It starts right here in Vancouver, but it doesn’t end here. Our dream is to take the Ekklesia model to other cities across the nation, empowering artists and communities everywhere to use theatre as a tool for hope, generosity, and transformation.
