For my creative "marathon," I'm planning to complete 26 embroidered felt cacti, inspired by these adorable ornaments I found on Etsy (created by LunaBeehive).

I remember participating in the annual Jog-A-Thon at my elementary school and asking the neighbors to each donate a dollar or two for every lap I jogged.  I'm *SO* glad jogging is not the task at hand 😂 and am excited to embark upon this creative journey to practice embroidery and hone my beading skills! 

I'd like to find 10 people to donate $2 for every cactus I create.

Every dollar donated goes directly to Cactus Cancer Society's programs that support young adult cancer patients and survivors.  These programs have been shown to reduce anxiety, depression, and loneliness, which is essential for young adults facing cancer, as it can be an extremely isolating experience.  Will you support my creative marathon?
