Eliot Elementary is a special neighborhood school and is proud to be a mainstay of historic Brookside. Founded in 1928, Eliot has always emphasized providing research-based curriculum and has a long tradition of educational excellence, parent involvement, and community support. Eliot is a Title I school, with 48.66% of our students are economically disadvantaged.

The Eliot Elementary Foundation is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 2013 to provide long-term financial support for Eliot Elementary School.  All funding decisions are supported by the Foundation Board, which is made up of volunteer parents, teachers, professionals, and counselors with input from the PTA and school administrators. The benefits of a foundation include having greater freedom over the funding of programs, technology, and services and ensuring that every dollar donated will directly benefit our children’s education. We also reserve 10% of the funds raised exclusively for teacher grants.

The funds we raised last year have allowed us to provide for our part-time art teacher and a teacher aide position in addition to teacher grants for special projects and materials for our STEM Maker Space. With your help this year, we can provide those services again—and more!

We'd also like to thank our generous sponsors! We couldn't provide these services without your dedication and support.
