The Eleonor Bart Memorial Fund for Students in Need

Eleonor “Ellie” Bart graduated with the Java 5.0 cohort in May 2019. She was a gifted developer with a natural talent for bringing people together. After Zip Code, Ellie launched her tech career with M&T Bank. As she developed skills and advanced in her career, she continued to give back to others by volunteering at Zip Code, offering mock interviews, tutoring and mentorship.

In 2023, at age 29, Ellie left us too soon. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Cory Bart, and her loving family, including her parents, Mark and Michelle Allbritton.

To honor her love for Zip Code and the opportunities it offers, Ellie's parents have established Ellie’s Fund to support Zip Code students facing unexpected and immediate financial hardships during their studies.
