I am excited to be part of the 2nd Annual Saree Run/ Walk hosted by Desis of Doylestown in conjunction with Arva Yoga. The saree as a garment is truly impartial and fits all body shapes and type. Growing up as a child, I vehemently wanted to ape the western culture but now wearing the shoes of an adult, I really want my friends and Allie’s to copy us as well by understanding our culture, traditions, attire thus creating a world where we embrace our differences and celebrate our commonalities. I personally want to create a community where there is no discrimination because of how you look, what you wear, where the opportunities are created equal and we can only achieve this collectively.
