Emergency Housing Fund- Peer Support Specialist In Need

We are putting together an emergency housing fund which involves a security deposit and first month's rent for one of our own.

We are currently raising funds to support a single mother in the Outer Banks who is navigating a difficult transition after a recent breakup. While she has been approved for stable housing, she is in a temporary financial gap as she waits for her tax return to arrive.

This woman is not only a devoted mother—she is also a vital part of our local recovery community. As a peer support specialist, she shows up every day to help individuals struggling with addiction, offering guidance, compassion, and stability to those who need it most. She is someone who has consistently given to others, often in the most challenging circumstances.

Now, she needs our help.

Funds raised will go directly toward helping her cover essential expenses during this short but critical period, ensuring she and her children can transition safely into their new home.
