Emergency shipping for four
Four young OTTBs urgently need our help.
When Serenity Oaks Equine Sanctuary learned that four off‑track Thoroughbreds were in immediate need of placement, we stepped in — and thanks to our ASPCA partner, Horses Haven, we were able to secure all four. This is a true collaboration: Serenity Oaks will be taking in two, and Horses Haven will be welcoming the other two.
Now we face the biggest challenge: getting them safely from Gulfstream to Michigan.
To reach their new beginnings, they first need transport from Gulfstream to Ocala, and then from Ocala all the way to Michigan. Moving four horses across multiple states on a tight deadline is a significant expense, and we cannot do it alone.
These horses deserve the turnout, decompression, and soft landing that both Serenity Oaks and Horses Haven can provide. They’ve done their part — now we’re asking for your help to get them home.
This is time‑sensitive. They must be moved before Sunday evening, 3/7.
If you’re able, please contribute toward their transport costs. Every donation, no matter the size, brings these deserving horses one step closer to safety and the forever families waiting for them.
Thank you for standing with us in this urgent moment.
