We’re excited to share that we’ve been awarded a $380,000, two‑year grant ($190,000 annually) from the Governor’s Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives to expand our Empowering Future Leaders year-round program. This funding is designated to expand our Empowering Future Leaders year-round program, serving an additional 540 youth each year and 1,080 youth over two years through our in-school and summer programming, STEM Club, and Youth Ambassador Club.

Because this grant is reimbursable, we must first cover the costs of new hires and program supplies before we are reimbursed. Your gift towards the $40,000 Empowering Future Leaders Expansion Launch Fund provides the crucial start-up capital we need in the next four weeks to hire staff, purchase materials, and open the doors on time. Every $1 you give helps unlock roughly $9–$10 in state funding and direct support for local youth throughout Lucas and Wood counties, turning your generosity into year-round mentoring, leadership development, and STEM opportunities for hundreds of young people in our community.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and support. - Dr. Marvin Whitfield, CEO
