The beginning of my mentee journey started with EmpowHer Camp, a mentorship program for disabled girls and feminine-aligned youth. Through EmpowHer Camp, participants ("young leaders") are matched with disabled mentors and gain leadership, survival, and independent living skills. Our journey culminates in a trip to DC to discuss the year-long project I helped my mentee research (she's an incredible and passionate researcher) and assemble. This project demonstrates her advocacy passion, dedication to hard work, and desire to change the world as someone with a disability. Please show your support, Saphire Murphy
