The 3rd Annual Empty Bowls Event of Roslindale & Hyde Park

The Empty Bowls Project is an international grassroots effort to raise both money and awareness in the fight to end hunger.

Join us on Sunday, March 23rd at the Roslindale Substation (4228 Washington Street) and choose a handmade ceramic bowl by Create: Art in Community and fill it with delicious soup from local restaurants—before taking it home to keep! Proceeds benefit the mutual aid member organizations of the Neighborhood Food Action Collaborative (NFAC): Food Access Volunteers of Roslindale (FAVOR) & the Hyde Park Food Pop-Up.

NFAC aims to continue to build, facilitate & coordinate a network of community members & organizations focused on increasing access, choice, & affordability to healthy food to improve overall community health. Funds raised will go directly towards providing fresh culturally appropriate fruit & vegetables to our community members!
