Together we can lessen the fear, anxiety, and isolation which children and their families endure while facing a life-threatening or life altering illness with the help from the communities we serve in Georgia.

EPCF works with Hospitals and Hospices throughout Georgia. Partnering with Children's Hospital of Atlanta, Emory Proton Therapy Center, Memorial Health Savannah, Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital Macon, Piedmont Regional Columbus, Children's Hospital of Georgia Augusta.

The Southern Hospitality Program provides much needed toys, books, educational tools and many items in need. Hospitalization can disrupt normal development in children by introducing stress, anxiety, and a lack of routine, which can impact emotional, social, and cognitive growth. Prolonged stays away from familiar environments can hinder opportunities for exploration and play, essential for healthy development. Play also serves as a vital therapeutic tool, helping children process their experiences, express emotions, and maintain cognitive skills, ultimately supporting their overall well-being and recovery.

For a family, during the challenges that come with caring for a seriously ill child, often the best relief is a simple, quick break during difficult times. Referrals from the medical community advise us so that we can offer an alleviating opportunity to each of these families. Our Family Focus Program offers opportunities at outings to the Zoo Atlanta, Georgia Aquarium, Sloomoo, Legoland, sporting events and much more. We facilitate a day long adventure during appropriate moments of treatment or recovery. This program also benefits the siblings who quietly endure the hardship their brother or sister is facing. Families experience joyous moments and lasting memories.

The Enchanted Peach Library provides comfort and understanding through storytelling. Serious illness impacts the entire family, bringing uncertainty, difficult conversations, and emotional challenges. The Enchanted Peach Library is a thoughtfully curated collection of books designed to offer comfort, guidance, and understanding for families navigating medical journeys. We collaborate with Child Life Specialists in hospitals and treatment centers across Georgia to ensure the library meets the unique needs of families facing serious illness. These experts help us select age-appropriate and emotionally supportive books, making the library a valuable resource for parents, caregivers and healthcare professionals alike.

Your generous contributions aid in funding each of these programs on a monthly basis. This gives children and their families a smile, a memory for years to come. EVERY gift makes a meaningful impact for children and families facing serious illness in Georgia. Your support helps us provide comfort, encouragement, and essential resources when they need it most. A gift of $25 can supply a Southern Hospitality item, $50 can provide books and art supplies for The EPCF Library, and $500 can offer a Family Focus outing to create joyful memories.
