Hunger is a logistics problem. Tamiami Food Rescue is a proven solution. 40% of food produced is wasted, while 1 in 8 people face food insecurity. We use app technology and volunteer power to rescue good food before it’s wasted and connect it to the nonprofits feeding our community.
Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, Tamiami Food Rescue strives to connect Florida and end food insecurity. Our goal is to expand our model throughout Florida, starting on the West coast from Tampa to Naples.
