EngAGE Beverly is the place we wish had existed. We are building it so others do not have to wish.

When our family started looking for support for my father-in-law, we kept running into the same problem. The options were too large, too clinical, or too far from the neighborhood where he had spent his life. None of them felt like home. So we decided to build the place we couldn't find.

EngAGE Beverly is a small neighborhood hub of memory-friendly programming for older adults on Chicago's South Side, with a core focus on those experiencing early memory changes. We gather in small groups of no more than eight at a time, by intention. Small enough that every person is known. Warm enough that families feel relief, not guilt, when they drop someone off. Rooted in Beverly, the neighborhood where he raised his family and where so many of our participants will have spent their lives.

We are in our founding year. We have our nonprofit status, our certification, and our first participants. What we are building toward now is a settled space, a small team, and the programming to welcome more neighbors as it grows.

Every gift at this stage goes directly toward that. No overhead bloat, no layers between your generosity and the work. Just a family building something Beverly needs, for every family that needs it next.
