As a community makerspace, our goal is to not only serve the traditional hobbyist and entrepreneur, but to reach far beyond that by working closely with a number of local organizations including underserved and prominent local school districts, private schools, home school chapters and nonprofits serving at-risk, underserved and disadvantaged youth to fill gaps in STEAM education. We will do this by offering full facility access and training to schools, groups, and organizations, allowing teachers and Executive Directors to expand on their programming and STEAM curriculum. We will also provide essential skill and job training and the space and equipment to start a business. Our facility will be open to underserved youth, veterans and their families, and men/women/youth in crisis and will also integrate into the programming of the organizations who support them.
