Gerard's EPIC Story:
I joined Epic Players on September 22nd, 2020 virtually during the Covid-19 pandemic, by a referral from my friend/Voice Over Acting Teacher and mentor Paul Liberti along with my future friend and fellow Epic Player Harrison Gottfried. Since Day One they have welcomed me with open arms and I have learned from the most talented people who have helped me bring my Acting talent to a level I've never thought possible. I started performing in their shows like Epic Underground, and the biggest show that I was excited to be apart of was their 2021 outdoor performance called "Under The Big Umbrella" at Lincoln Center where I performed my first Epic Underground piece. I made my Mainstage debut in December 2021 with their production of Almost Maine by being double cast as Lendall and Dave which I keep near and dear to my heart to this very day.
I've been in their productions of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Tartuffe, Romeo And Juliet, Spring Awakening, and Christmas Carol which they've given me more confidence not only in my performance and more importantly in my social life as well. Since 2023 I have been one of their assistant teaching artist and it's a great feeling teaching theaters to others in schools and learning centers. I have goals and dreams which I would like to accomplish as an Actor which are getting into the field of Animation Voice Over Acting, Doing Television, Movies, and even Broadway and I know that Epic Players will make it a reality. From the bottom of my heart, I thank Epic Players and those who support them not only in helping turn my dreams and goals into a reality but others whom I work with as well.
Fun fact: I have virtually met one of my two voice-over acting idols Cathal J.Dodd (voice of Wolverine from X-Men: The Animated Series and the sequel X-Men 97)
