Founded in 1989, Episcopal Camps & Conference Centers is a network for leaders of summer camps and retreat and conference ministries. Through online and in-person education, networking opportunities, and advocacy, we support the transformations that happen at summer camps and on retreats. 

These gifts directly drive the education and support we provide camps, conference and retreat centers, and their staffs in 1 of 10 ares of need.

1) Strategic Planning

ECC provides Strategic Planning resources along with a consultative approach that connects mission and other guiding documents with functional assessments of facilities, priority repairs and maintenance, general operations, finance and business systems staffing models, and risk management.

2) Human Resources

ECCC offers a portfolio of documents that include job descriptions, hiring practices, compensation and benefits, employment agreements, staff evaluation, staff manuals, job termination and severance. Additional areas include board selection, development and bylaws.

3) Hiring Services

ECCC also offers search and hiring services through our Executive Director Search Assistance. General staffing assistance is provided through our Staff Exchange and (Camp)us Connection programs. Members also have access to our online Job Board for posting staffing and employment opportunities.

ECCC offers resources and workshops for finance, budget, and business administration, fundraising and grant writing. Members also have access to a library of potential grant opportunities for Episcopal camping and retreat ministries.

ECCC is in partnership with American Camping Association and Outdoor Ministries Connection which provide complimentary resources. ECCC members also have access to ECCC group health, life, and disability insurance discount.
