We have so much to be thankful for. Living in this extraordinary Fairfield County area, we cherish both our small-town New England elegance and historical charm.  However, the threat of United Illuminating's colossal monopoles jeopardizes the very essence of our community, seeking to seize rights from property owners for 19.25 acres of land and clear 6.5 acres of trees that currently screen the intrusive power and train infrastructure. 

In response to this peril, the Sasco Creek Neighbors Environmental Trust Inc (SCNETI) was established as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, committed to opposing this project as currently proposed and advocating for a more sensible and considerate alternative to address United Illuminating's electrical transmission needs. 

This appeal for a donation is meant to bolster our legal defense efforts. Your contribution will play a crucial role in safeguarding the character of our community.
