ESSENTIAL GARDEN PROJECT™

                                                                                                          

(HHH) HipHoticHelps Inc. nonprofit 501 c3 corporation is humbly requesting for donations to assist with the funding to complete the first phase of the Essential Garden Project™.  The total budget for the Essential Garden Project™ is $1.2 million dollars. We are requesting your support to finally launch the Essential Garden Project™ which is designed to educate 150,000 youth gardeners and community participants over the next 15 years through proprietary BANSAKEHM™ Survival Sciences program systems.

This will take place on the 1.6 acre land located on NYC Parks Property Block:12089 Lot:8 at 133rd and 135th Avenues between 143rd and 144th Streets in Jamaica, Queens.

HHH provide school groups, churches, disabled individuals, seniors and families of Queens, New York with 8 week workshops for life skills development , agricultural education, nutritional application, and career training through the Essential Garden Project™. The Essential Garden Project™  is comprised of lessons and various workshops for planting, growing, and harvesting 100% organic fruits, vegetables, herbs for farm to table practices to combat mortality rates within underserved communities.

In addition, we provide targeted specialized propulations aging out youth/young adults, domestic violence -human trafficking survivors, LGBTQIA, and veterans with Essential Garden Project™ programming systems for education and mental health therapy while in shelter or supportive housing.

Background History

(HHH) HipHoticHelps and dedicated volunteers have conducted community outreach to petition 484 residentsx signatures to transform and beautify the abandoned lot with the Essential Garden plans since February 2015 through December 2020. HHH also conducted several intense cleanups for the property to prepare the land space for ground leveling and equipment delivery in November 2024. To date, HHH founders have raised $33,507.29 for funding towards garden meetings, cleanups, equipment, and materials. 

This property was previously stewarded as the Hilton Holiday Garden and was abandoned since Hurricane Sandy in 2012 and HHH receive the Greenthumb stewardship license in on March 11th, 2020 to rehabilitate the landspace. The pandemic delayed the project planning and fundraising processes until October 2023. Today, HHH staff and Essential Garden Project™ volunteers are eager to begin the development of the landspace, however lacks the funding to complete the project.

HipHoticHelps nonprofit, along with community organizations, local small businesses, elected officials, volunteers, and local residents join hands to implement the (6 Phases) of structured plans for the community Essential Garden Project™ for various weekly school tours and 20 hours weekly minimum of public access.

Development Phase #1

  • Ground Leveling of 1.6 acres landspace.
  • Essential Garden and GreenHouse: plant, grow, harvest 100% organic crops on 3 ft raised galvanized metal beds. In addition, fence installation, newly paved cement sidewalks, garden pathways, interior perimeter raised flower beds, exterior garden benches, exterior installation of exotic flowering plants, and garden plant uplighting.
  • 26 Trees of Life-  community residents can apply and register assignment for a Tree of Life embroidered plaque. In the assigned section, approved local residents can plant a perennial flower of choice to remember loved ones who lost their lives through violent crimes or health dispariti
