Our theme, #Every68, reflects the statistic that, "Every 68 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted" (RAINN). As the giving season approaches, we ask for your support of survivors of sexual violence. Whether it be $6.80, $68.00, or $680, help us empower and encourage survivors on their healing journey.

This year, SARC is raising funds for counseling services to directly support our increasing client caseload.

As of November 22nd, we have a wait list of over 66 people waiting for counseling services with one of our trauma-trained counselors. In 2021 alone, SARC counselors have seen an almost 30% increase in counseling services from 2020 and are serving more clients than ever before. Even with serving more clients, we still have a wait list of over 66 people. Help us fill this need.

Through crisis intervention, counseling, education and outreach services and resources, we strive to help people heal from sexual violence as well as bring knowledge abut sexual violence to the Brazos Valley community.

Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the Sexual Assault Resource Center's Crisis Hotline provides survivors of sexual violence and their significant others immediate support, crisis intervention, accompaniments and referrals for the entire Brazos Valley. Our counseling services include Master's level trauma therapists who help people heal from sexual trauma. The Education and Outreach Department at SARC brings knowledge and resources about sexual violence to the Brazos Valley community.

The Sexual Assault Resource Center's success and growth depends largely on dedicated individuals and local businesses like you who support our mission to end the cycle of sexual violence through fundraising, donating, and/or volunteering.
