Region, invites you to "Italian Masters of Art: From Medieval Symbolism to Modernism", a tour and lecture at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. To underscore Italy's importance in art and culture, Dr. Angela Puglisi will tour you among selected Italian paintings at the National Gallery of Art, which will be analyzed in terms of line, color and form. Artists include Byzantine religious works by Duccio, Masolino; Renaissance masterpieces by Leonardo, Perugino, Raphael; Venetian colorostic paintings by Giorgione, Titian and Tintoretto; view paintings created by Canaletto and Guardi and abstract elements found in the works of Morandi, Giacometti, Modigliani, as on display. Saturday, October 19th, 2024 - 10:30 am to 12 pm, at the National Gallery of Art, West Building, on 6th Street and Constitution Ave NW, Washington D.C. Members: $10 | Non-members: $20. Attendance limited to 25 people. Meeting point at the information desk at the main entrance on Constitution Avenue NW.
