Exploring the use of the Harmonic Egg as a treatment for nurse burnout
Help Us Protect the Nurses Who Care for Us
Nurses are burning out at alarming rates and patients are feeling the impact.(Li et al., 2024)
Chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, and workforce shortages are straining our healthcare system. Burnout doesn’t just affect the nurse, it impacts patient safety, team morale, and the sustainability of care.(Li et al., 2024)
We ask nurses to give everything and It’s time we give something back.
A Research Study with Real Impact
We are partnering with Dr. Shelly Rauvola (DePaul University) to conduct a research study in Winston-Salem, NC examining nurse burnout and exploring a promising non-pharmacological intervention.
This study will evaluate the effects of a sound, light, and frequency-based nervous system intervention (Harmonic Egg) on nurse stress, resilience, and overall well-being.
Participants will be randomly assigned to either:
• An intervention group receiving Harmonic Egg sessions
• A control group receiving structured rest and relaxation time
All participants will receive compensation for their time.
The goal?
To gather meaningful, data-driven evidence on whether nervous system regulation through frequency-based therapy can reduce burnout and support long-term nurse resilience.
If effective, this research could influence future approaches to healthcare worker well-being nationwide.
Why We’re Fundraising
To conduct this study with scientific integrity and rigor, we must raise funds to support:
• Compensation for participating nurses
• A licensed nurse to collect vitals and assist with data collection
• Research coordination and administration time
• Time for the researcher to facilitate intervention and control sessions
• Harmonic Egg session usage for study participants
• Data collection, analysis, and reporting
This is a grassroots, community-supported initiative. We are not backed by a large institution or corporate sponsor.
We are backed by people who care about nurses.
The Impact of Your Donation
Your contribution helps us:
• Support frontline nurses in meaningful, measurable ways
• Advance research on non-pharmaceutical burnout interventions
• Strengthen patient safety outcomes
• Contribute to the future of healthcare resilience
• Bring evidence-based nervous system tools into clinical conversations
This isn’t just about one study, It’s about changing how we care for the caregivers.
Every donation, large or small , helps moves this research forward.
If you believe nurses deserve better tools, better support, and better protection from burnout, then we invite you to donate today.
Together, we can invest in solutions that strengthen both caregivers and patients.
Thank you for standing with our nurses.
