Story

Farm2Power is a BIPOC-majority coalition of folks utilizing a mutual aid fund and network of volunteers to support existing community farm shares. This mutual aid fund directly uplifts BIPOC farmers by purchasing their agricultural products while providing free and fresh food to the community, redistributing resources in the era of COVID-19 and Black Lives Matter.

We are beyond grateful to be partnering with/uplifting South Central Farmers' Cooperative!

The $16,500 we raise will cover the cost of community pantries for an entire year.

We firmly believe in the importance of equitable access to fresh food in regard to the current fight for liberation. Priority of produce box distribution will be given to Black trans women, Black non-binary folks, undocumented folks, formerly incarcerated folks, and BIPOC organizers/activists, but we still encourage anyone in need of food in Los Angeles to apply!
