The four burned kittens are still fighting and that only happens because of your support. Here’s the latest update:
-
The two kittens who are healing the fastest have gone to two of our best foster homes, where they’ll get one-on-one attention and care.
-
The two more severely burned kittens are still at the shelter under close medical supervision. They’re receiving strong pain medication, having their feet carefully washed in medicated solution several times a day, and being treated with a special balm to promote healing.
-
The two remaining in our care are also being hand-fed, and thankfully, they’re eating. They’re small, but they’re fighters.
They’re not out of the woods, but they’re holding on — and it’s all because of you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making it possible for us to be here for them.

We wish we didn’t have to show you these photos. But we need you to understand just how bad this is.
Four kittens came to us Monday as part of a pending cruelty investigation. All were singed, some with melted plastic fused to their skin. Two of them are in critical condition with deeply burned paws and bodies. We don’t know yet if they’ll all survive.
We know we’ve asked for a lot lately. We hate to ask again, but this has been one of the worst seasons we’ve ever seen. Our shelter is over capacity, our animals are stressed, and our resources are stretched thinner than ever.
If you’re able to give today — to help cover the cost of their pain relief, treatment, and care — please know how much it means. Every dollar makes a difference for these little lives.
