Hi friends, family, and ice cream family,

We’ve been working hard to move into our new home at Uncommon Coffee in Essex!

After years of scooping up small-batch, plant-based joy in our cozy little corner in Winooski, we’ve officially outgrown our space. We’ve found the perfect new location with our coffee friends—bigger, brighter, and ready for the next evolution of our vegan ice cream dream. We are honored to have fulfilled a need of creating nostalgia and memories through the joy of our vegan ice cream. Running a small business is never easy, but passion has kept our doors open, our spoons full, and our customers smiling. Now we need a little help to get there.

Why We're Moving

More space means:

-Room for new equipment and more flavor experimentation!

-Indoor & outdoor seating for community hangouts and events

-Expanded hours and a few surprises we can’t wait to share

This move is a big step—but one that will let us serve our community better than ever.

Why We Need Your Help

Moving a handmade ice cream shop takes more than a few scoops of luck. We’re raising $7500 to cover essential expenses that will help us continue to create the creamy, dairy-free treats our community has come to love:

-Urgent Equipment Repairs & Replacements: Our big ice cream machine is in need of repairs, without this machine we are unable to make our delicious ice cream

-Renovations & Build-Out: Electrical work, renovating counters for service, signage

-Operating Costs & Setup Costs: Rent, utilities, getting inspections & permits

-Upgraded Equipment: Bigger ice cream cabinet for more flavors! More capacity = shorter lines and more flavors

We’re a black woman-owned, plant-based, and community-powered business with a mission: make plant based delicious ice cream accessible, inclusive, and joyful for our community. Your support keeps more than just our shop running—it keeps a small dream alive in a big world.
