Membership/support is not tax deductible. We are not a 501c3 organization. In the past, you would have paid a monthly or annual subscription for a local newspaper. We don't have a paywall for subscriptions because we believe information should be accessible to all, regardless of ability to pay. We are also trying to do more than just provide information. We believe local journalism also builds community.

You can edit or cancel your recurring plan at any time, whether or not you have a Givebutter login. The easiest way to edit your recurring plan is to click the management link at the bottom of any Givebutter receipt. The options you can change at any time also include the dollar amount and frequency of support.
