Russia is turning winter into a weapon against civilians across Ukraine.

In January 2026, as temperatures drop to minus 4 degrees Fahrenheit and below, Russian attacks on energy infrastructure have left millions of people without electricity, heat, and water. Power plants, heating systems, and transmission nodes are deliberately targeted—making entire cities unlivable during the coldest months of the year.

This is not accidental damage.

It is a deliberate strategy to freeze civilians.

Kyiv is one documented example. After January attacks, around 70% of the city—over 2 million people—lost electricity, and 6,000 apartment buildings lost heating. Similar outages are occurring across Ukraine, placing elderly people, children, and people with disabilities at extreme risk.

Engineers and emergency crews work nonstop to restore power, but repeated strikes sabotage recovery, leading to prolonged blackouts and freezing homes.

OUR GOAL

We are raising funds to deliver immediate, life-saving winter support, including:

    •    Generators for warming centers, shelters, and hospitals

    •    Portable heating devices and insulation equipment

    •    Disposable hand and body warmers that work without electricity

These tools provide warmth where the grid has failed—and time where time saves lives.
