UPDATE: 8.28.25

Manny had his emergency surgery and it was successful. They were able to remove multiple tumors on the liver, all which were bleeding. The surgeon also removed his spleen. There is a lump on his hip that has to be looked at, but it is hopefully benign and not a priority for right now in case it’s something worse and would cause more internal bleeding if poked.

Manny spent two more days in hospital at risk of still internal bleeding and was anemic to the point where he was possibly need a blood transfusion and a moment.

He has pulled through it all and will be able to get discharged and head home to continue his healing in his loving foster home.

The total bill is $12,511.

Manny is now in for a CT scan.
The ultrasound showed a large mass on his liver and part on his spleen.

The CT scan will determine if we can operate and if we can, we’ll go right into surgery.

The bill is now $8,000 including the
$2100 from last night. 😭
This is huge and so unexpected.
We’re already drowning in medical bills.💔

Manny, our sweet cancer survivor tripod, took a sudden turn out of nowhere.

He's weak and his gums are pale and X-rays are showing a large mass around his liver or spleen that wasn't there before. He needs to get to the ER right now and be seen for an emergency ultrasound and oncology to figure out what's going on. to

Ballpark estimate is we need to raise an immediate $3,000.

His red blood cell count is very elevated and there is a chance that he is bleeding internally. Please help us help Manny!
