801 Salon Giving

801 Salon is celebrating a landmark year for community arts. In September we celebrated four years of programming since our founding in 2021. That's four years of multidisciplinary programming, producing 41+ art experiences for the Salt Lake City community, and supporting over 350 local artists. 

Just last week we produced our largest and grandest show yet in partnership with UtahPresents at Kingsbury Hall, featuring Little Moon. This immersive, interdisciplinary show featured a 10 piece musical ensemble, 16 dancers from the University of Utah's School of Dance, and a team of talented visual and technical artists. Little Moon took this opportunity to shape a journey for our audiences by writing an entirely new album, premiering and live recording, allowing our audiences to be a part of the magic. The first two shows sold out, prompting UtahPresents to offer a third sold out show. Thanks to the support of the UtahPresents Stage Door Series, this 801 Salon show was lauded as transportive, ethereal, and sublime. 

We are always so grateful to this community for supporting our vision and mission, as we continue to build events and experiences that provide a platform for artists to create and present. We have many exciting shows coming up this year, and we rely on the support of folks like you—folks who are interested in supporting local artists who are looking to explore, experiment, and push their creative practices. By providing resources like space, honorariums, marketing, and administrative support, we are able to remove barriers and shoulder burdens that allow artists to focus on their work and take risks within their disciplines.
